Description
Death Keeper (32mm, 75mm) pre-supported Death Keeper stood upon the deck of his spectral ship, a monument to the ocean's cruel humor. His form was that of a sailor long claimed by the depths; his flesh had been picked clean to the bone by scavengers, leaving only a barnacle-encrusted skull for a face and a skeleton clad in tattered naval rags. In one bony hand, he clutched a notched cutlass, its edge still sharp with lingering malice. In the other, he held a warped wooden shield and a bottle of dark rum that never emptied—a final comfort eternally denied. Where his left leg should have been, a crude wooden peg carved from a table leg thumped heavily against the planks. Perched upon his shoulder, a spectral octopus wrapped its ethereal tentacles around his collarbone, a silent first mate sharing in his damnation. He was the warden of these cursed waters, forever sailing the border between the world of the living and the endless abyss. He offered no grand battles or heroic challenges. His purpose was simpler, more dreadful. To those doomed sailors who saw his ghastly ship emerge from the fog, he would raise his bottle in a macabre toast and level his cutlass. It was not an invitation to fight, but a final verdict. The shield was to block any retreat back to life, the rum a toast to their journey's end, and the cutlass the swift, cold mercy that would send them to join his eternal crew.
