McGill Martlet -- Mystic bird

A martlet is a mystic small bird with chopped-off beak and legs. It is in the arms of many universities such as Oxford, Mcgill and Cambridge.  Because of its lack of feet, the martlet is incapable of landing, thus it represents restlessness and the constant quest for knowledge, learning, and adventure.
