Description

As rebel Irish activity reached dangerous heights on the remote world of Victoria, the British Army found itself struggling to deal with the constant ambushes and explosive devices left in wait for their patrols. Urgently needing armored vehicles to restore order and protect their personnel (both man and machine), the provincial government of Victoria reached out to local civilian vehicle manufacturers for a solution, and in this moment of haste and desperation, the Palamedes was born. Nicknamed the "Cyclops" by the Irish for its distinctive centerline cockpit and enlarged autopilot camera, the Palamedes was an inelegant but effective answer to Britain's needs, and with the Great War breaking out not long after these crude armored transports were introduced, they soon became a common export to everywhere from the deserts of Africa to the jungles of Southeast Asia. Though ugly and rough, the Palamedes has proven time and again that it is more than sufficient as the stalwart protector of the British infantry. Includes pintle options for a Bren gun or twin Vickers K machine guns, both magnetizable with 3x2mm magnets. This set comes with both supported and unsupported versions, making sure that we'll get you on the battlefield quickly! Additionally, the .lys files are provided, allowing you to optimize the supports for your specific machine.   Sculpting by Tim Callahan and Jackson Jewell
