It belongs to the dromaeosaurid group but displays a unique mix of features unlike its relatives. It had a long, flexible neck, numerous small teeth, and forelimbs that may have been adapted for swimming. Its anatomy suggests a semi-aquatic lifestyle, possibly feeding on fish in rivers or lakes.
