Description
This wall ruin has been physically simulated using the same CGI techniques VFX artists use in the film industry to achieve an extra level of realism. The gothic arch is damaged by erosion but its structural integrity is still intact. The brick wall, on the other hand, has been completely obliterated, leaving just a small, riddled by cracks and rifts section still attached to the arch (as showed in the second video file). This models dimensions are 15x10x2cm (6x4x0.8in)Test printing was performed using a resin printer (Anycubic Photon Mono m5s) and the presupported model is also included. The process took approximately 6.5 hours with a layer thickness of 0.05 mm and an exposure time of 3 seconds, using Anycubic ABS-like 2.0 resin. The model is scalable, the minimum scale one could use before the details start disappearing is x0.5 (tested in a 12k LCD printer). I cannot guarantee successful FDM printing, as I have no way to test it.
