B5 Audi Dash Board Gauge Pod

This is a pod designed to fit any 52mm diameter automotive gauge for diagnostic and vehicle system monitoring to the pictured locaiton on the dashboard of a B5 audi vehicle. It was designed using the open source FreeCAD program and I have included those files for download and adaption for any vehicle or mounting location you desire. The design provided will mount to the dashboard via removable (as to not harm the interior of your vehicle with perminant damage) double sided tape. Oriented directly to the left of the OEM instrument cluster the gauge is low profile and descrete from other attention. Although there is a similar design available, it completely replaces the window defrosting vent in the B5 audis which almost eliminates the functionality of that vent completly. Not to mention the low resolution STL files provided hinder print quality and fitment of the final parts is sub par. There are similar solutions to mounting a gauge in the B5 audi S4, however, there are none that harmlesly intigrates into the interior of the car. The most similar solutions cost between $155 and $200, also eliminating functionality of either an airbag with pillar mounts or a hvac vent with vent gauge mounts. This design offers a professional and descrete method for mounting a gauge seemlesly with the interior of the car for only $1.25 in PLA filament, and $0.08 of double sided tape to hold the pod to the dash and the gauge in place within the pod. Overall, this is a better quality product with a savings of upwards of 80%
