Fermion — Hot glue mold to repair your cables

Here you have my take on the injection-molding idea. It is heavily inspired on this video, be sure to check it out.

I recommend printing with TPU. Use as follows:

1. Print both pieces.
2. Put some vegetable oil with a light coating on both pieces of the mold.
3. Insert your cable in the bottom piece, closing with the top.
4. Heat up your hotglue gun – for at least ten minutes for the best results.
5. Firmly push nozzle to the chamfered hole on the side and put as much glue as it can be injected, until it spills out.
6. Wait two to four minutes before opening the mold.
7. Cut the excess; you can reuse the mold if needed.

Don't try using the mold with no releasing agent (such as oil), as it will weld it shut.

Ось мій погляд на ідею лиття гарячим клеєм. 

Рекомендую друкувати ТПУ. Використовуйте наступним чином:

1. Роздрукуйте обидві частини.
2. На обидві частини форми нанесіть трохи рослинної олії легким шаром.
3. Вставте кабель у нижню частину, закриваючи верхню.
4. Нагрійте пістолет для гарячого клею – принаймні десять хвилин для досягнення найкращих результатів.
5. Сильно притисніть насадку до скошеного отвору збоку та нанесіть стільки клею, скільки можна впорснути, доки він не витече.
6. Зачекайте дві-чотири хвилини, перш ніж відкрити форму.
7. Зріжте зайве; ви можете використовувати форму повторно, якщо це необхідно.

Не намагайтеся використовувати прес-форму без розчинника (наприклад, масла), оскільки це зварить її.
