Description
A 8x8 LED matrix as a printed LED word clock.
Print the first layer or two layers of the top with transparent or translucent white, you could also add some layers of an another color, if you want a coloured appearance. The rest of the top I would suggest to print in black.
Add threaded inserts to the top. M3x3x4.2 should work perfect. M3 x 6 screws should work for connecting the bottom.
My LED Matrix has about 63mm width. I assume this should be somehow default when built with 5050 LEDs.
Depending on the type of connectors (I had a soldered pins) you may have to add some negative volume at the correct location.
The source code is very simple.
