ARRI Alexa battery plate adapter

Model

This adapter mounts onto the back of an Alexa (Classic / Studio / Plus / XR / XT / SXT) and allows the mounting of a standard V Mount or Gold Mount battery plate.

Parts needed

4 x m3 threaded inserts
8 x m3 8mm shcs screws
1 x Battery plate (you will need to wire this yourself)
 

Installation

(1) Install the threaded inserts into the 4mm holes, you can install all of the inserts or only those needed for V Mount or Gold mount mounting holes.

(2) Using the 4 counterbored mounting holes install the adapter onto the back of the Alexa, make sure that the m3 screws you use are not too long as if so they will poke through the mounting holes and damaged the heatsink assembly at the back of the camera.

(3) Route the wires for your battery plate into the camera, once connected you may install the V Mount or Gold Mount battery plate onto the adapter plate using m3 SHCS screws.
