Mercedes-Benz R230 roof dowel

This dowel is an integral part of the roof lock assembly on Mercedes-Benz R230 chassis, the SL-Class like the SL350, SL500, SL55, SL600, SL63, SL65 non Black Edition. They are used to line up the roof as it's closing, and the right side has a microswitch in the header that is used to detect when the roof is closed.

This should work on all 2002-2012 R230 bodies with a Vario Roof. I'm not sure if this will work on other chassis.

How I Designed This

Used a caliper to measure the old broken plastic one for outer dimensions and the metal pin on the lock mechanism it clips to for inner dimensions.
