Electric Garden Pump Sprayer Conversion with Detachable Cordless Air Compressor

This project turns a regular garden pump sprayer into an electric one using a detachable cordless air compressor. It's simple - the compressor isn't permanently attached, so you can easily move it between different sprayers or use it for other tasks. It makes spraying easier and more versatile, without losing the option to use the sprayer manually when you want.

You will need:

HDX 1 Gallon Multi-Purpose Lawn and Garden Pump Sprayer found at Homedepot or Roundup 1 Gallon Plastic Pump Sprayer from Lowe's 

Cordless Air Compressor found at Aliexpress 

1/4" NPT Tank Valve, Anti-Corrosion Brass Schrader Valve from Amazon

Nylon Webbing Strap for handle (I used 1 ½" wide heavy duty strap from Amazon)

• Note: Cut the apropriate length of nylon webbing strap with a hot blade to prevent the ends from fraying. After passing it through the channels in the neck collar, fold the ends and either sew them or carefully melt them to secure it in place and prevent it from coming out.

Printed parts are:

Tank cap: The cap with ¼” NPT threaded hole for attaching the valve is designed to replace the manual pump that comes with the sprayer. Printed in ASA filament, 0.4mm nozzle, 0.2mm layer height, 4 perimeters, 25% infill, no supports.

Neck collar: Provides support for an air compressor and includes hooks for attaching a strap handle. Printed in TPU (I used Polymaker PolyFlexTPU95A), 0.4mm nozzle, 0.2mm layer height, 4 perimeters, 30-50%infill, no supports.

Plug: This rubber plug is designed to protect the valve from liquid splashes inside the tank, ensuring proper functionality and preventing contamination. Also printed in TPU, parameters as listed above.

I set the compressor to 8 psi for safety and will increase the pressure if I need a finer mist.
