Description
Sturdy holder for ERSA Tip 260 soldering iron. The base has a compartment for salt/sand to increase the weight. The compartment is closed with a tightly fitting cover.
To prevent heat transfer from the soldering iron to the printed holder, a 61902 bearing is used. The bearing is pressed into the base and conducts very little heat.
Below the soldering iron is a spot for a tip-cleaning wool.
Feel free to download the Fusion360 files to adapt the holder to your soldering iron. This version was only tested with the ERSA Tip 260 but might work with others too.
