Description
After many years, a paving stone may become damaged. Or a few new stones may be needed. If they are no longer manufactured, you can make them yourself. Here is an example of a mould. Another example can be found at https://www.printables.com/de/model/353910-form-fur-pflastersteine.
This mold consists of 3 parts and a jig to drill the holes.
For the printing of the parts I used Pla for a few mold parts (<5 ), for more stones I recommend PETG. Infill: 15% Perimeter: 4 otherwise all standard.
In the area of screws and connections, I recommend an infill of 20-30% to achieve greater strength.
1. first the holes are drilled on a coated wooden plate with the help of the drilling jig. ( 6mm drill )
2. before use, the molded parts must be coated with release agent (Vaseline)
3. then screw the bar firmly to the top and bottom of the plate using an M5 screw with washer.
4. connect both front parts with an M5 screw with washers on the left and right.
5. now the parts can be screwed to the top and bottom of the wooden panel using M5 screws with washers.
6. after curing, unscrew the mold before removing the screws on the left and right. Then the parts can be removed by pulling carefully. Have fun !
