Description
A housing for two HP-DPS 1200FB power supply units. The enclosure was designed so that two voltmeters / ammeters have space and the whole thing can be mounted under a table, for example.
In the top part there is also space for four 4mm banana sockets (two for 24V and two for 12V) and the two shunts for ampere measurement.
I have installed the following parts:
The power supplies are wired according to these instructions to be able to output 24V.
The top part can simply be pushed onto the body, but as I had laid quite long cables, I also glued it on. I may adapt the design again and then post an update here.
The two power supply units are pushed into the body from behind until the fans touch the body so that there is enough space at the front for the cables to be connected.
I first attached all the cables in the top part, pushed the power supplies into the body and then soldered the supply cables from the top part to the power supplies.
Supports are necessary for the body and I would recommend it for the top part.
If you rebuild the power supply units, do this carefully. Mains voltage can be lethal and I take no responsibility/liability if anything happens to you, your tools or anything else.
