Roccat ELO Headband Mount Replacement

These replacement parts replace the weak headband mounts of the Roccat ELO headset. If printed with the settings described below, it is more sturdy and durable than the original.

Printing

For the best result, I recommend to print the parts in the original orientation of the files (see picture below). I printed them with 40% cubic infill and a wall count of 3.

I highly recommend adding a modifier (yellow box) with 100% rectilinear infill for best layer adhesion. Be sure to let the box overlap a little on the top (as shown in the picture) to give the connection a solid foundation.

Assembly

You need

• 2x M2 Bolts (10mm length)
• 2x M2 Nuts

Clamp

In my case, the part of the earpiece that connects to the replacement part started to break away as well, so I added a simple clamp to support the plastic. A simple spell but very effective!

Assembly with clamp:

1. Slide clamp over newly printed part
2. Assemble part to earpiece
3. Slide clamp down (might require a little force)
