Bow Hanger for Music Stand

V2 update Feb 9, 2025:

The hanger piece has been updated and reoriented so that the layer lines are now perpendicular to the hanging bow.  A couple of people had issues with strength due to the layer lines being parallel with the shear force of the bow as is hangs (or if someone knocks into it as they walk past).  Most people reported that it worked great, but there's no sense taking chances with your bow!  The new design fits with the old screw, so if you want to reprint you'll just need the hanging part.

If things like shear strength, perpendicular/parallel forces, etc. don't mean anything to you, just know that the new design is much stronger even with poor layer adhesion.  This design also eliminates the need for overhangs and a brim.

Simple bow holder that attaches to your music stand. Can be attached to the back of the stand or the tray depending on where you want it.

I used 3 walls and 25% infill just to make sure the hanger piece is reinforced enough.

Make sure to print both the piece that goes on the stand (there are a few different designs to pick from) as well as the screw that clamps it to the stand so it can't fall off.
