Gridfinity 1x1/1x2 bin 2x divider Add-on for cases

2025.08.26: Added 1x2 bin divider versions for when you need to store longer objects.

2024.12.13: Added a STEP folder in the file section containing models of each version in case you need to modify one of these for your custom bins.

2024.10.31: I added a 6mm label width version… since the label is so narrow I left a bit more space within the “frame” of the divider so you can read the label better. Thanks to that the inner frame won't be perfectly centered vertically with the label but it's better than having the text occluded.

This is a little add-on for gridfinity 1x1 bins that have a 2x divider. After printing the amazing gridinity cases from @unrepentantgeek I noticed that 1x1 bins with a 2x divider require an extension at the very top towards the lid to keep small parts truly separated. To prevent the two compartments from mixing together you need to keep the case upright at all times. These small add-ons can be easily placed at the very top to help with that issue.

I made 2 versions, a simple divider for bins without labels and a variant for those with labels which comes in three sizes (6mm, 9mm and 12mm label width). The slanted wall on the label version is simply to allow for better lighting and view angle.

Print these preferably with a 0.4mm nozzle (haven't tested 0.6mm). I didn't require a brim for my prints but depending on your bed adhesion it might be advisable to add a 2mm brim as demonstrated in the photos. 

I use a 0.9mm thick window for these cases. Depending on your configuration you might need to simply scale these dividers vertically up/down to get a perfect amount of seal/clearance.
