Description

The HDMI water interface in my H2O to HDMI Adapter simply wasn't enough bandwidth for some people.. and others complained that their HDMI connector got ejected, so I invite you to dive into the next level of absurdity with the DisplayPort Deluge! This 3D printed garden hose to DisplayPort adapter is your go-to for high-bandwidth water streaming. Perfect for those who need their garden to support 8K hydration, the larger opening allows you to pump more H2O faster.  Designed to have your plug actually lock in place while you clean it.  No longer will your dongle be blasted 10 feet away when you turn on the water.

Design: This playful connector features a garden hose fitting on one end and a DisplayPort plug on the other. It’s designed to look like it could actually connect your hose and your high-definition display or GPU. It even works as a hose-end nozzle, spraying water in the shape of a DisplayPort connector. For a perfect seal, consider using a rubber hose washer or print one out of TPU (model included in the parent of this remix HDMI post).

And yes, we’ve even included the (rarely used) DisplayPort active cable logo for that extra touch of authenticity. Because nothing says “active cooling” like misused official symbology!

Amuse your friends with this innovative solution to their liquid-cooled GPU needs. 3MF and STEP files included.

Printing:

  • Material: Printed here with durable ASA, this model can be as robust as it is ridiculous. PLA/PETG can work too.
  • Layer height: Prints well at 0.16 or 0.12 layer height in ASA. For good threads, thinner layers are recommended. If you haven’t shrink-corrected your ASA printing profiles, you may need to enlarge the model to ~100.7%. Should fit just fine for PLA/PETG prints.
  • Orientation: I recommend printing DisplayPort-side down on the bed.

Get ready to play in water-cooled bliss with the DisplayPort Deluge!
