Description
I recently bought the DUB185 because its nozzle setup makes more sense to me as the one provided with the DUB186. The only downside is the shortness of the standard rubber nozzle if you intend using the blower to clean your terrace floor like I do. Therefore, I designed an extension which goes between the blower housing and the rubber nozzle. It is designed to use the original bayonet catches on both the blower and the rubber nozzle. In order to provide a snug fit with the blower housing I fitted a notch on the bottom of the extension to accommodate a standard 40.87x3.53mm o-ring. This gets slightly compressed when installing the extension and holds it in place firmly. If the extension can’t be turned until fully engaging with the bayonet catch in the blower you can adjust the fit by slightly shaving off the top of the two knobs with a sharp knife until there is enough play to fully rotate.
The part is designed to max out the z axis capacity of my X1C. I used black ASA for the print with 30% infill. Furthermore, the part was printed with enabled support structures as well as a 10mm brim.
