Description
Designed to hold header-mounted microcontroller boards (e.g. pico, teensy) and a small amount of peripherals/wiring/LED, so that you can chuck it in your bag for development work when travelling/at a conference/generally somewhere you have a computer and some spare time!
The base snaps shut with embedded magnets, and there is a label slot for Pred Parametric Label-style labels. If you are able to set up a python environment, these can be generated by e.g. my label generator package, but using the Pred blank-label supplies with that model should be easy enough to add in any CAD system.
STL/STEP design should comfortably fit around a 82x55mm breadboard, and magnet holes for four sets of two 6x2 magnets stacked - I found I needed two of my 6x2 magnets in order to get a strong snap.
There are minimal test prints for the breadboard fit, and the print-in-place hinges, if you want to test sizes before committing to the full print. The f3d file included has parametric variables to control breadboard size and the magnet size/embedded depth.
