SPLATOON inspired lighted sign

This is a 3D sign inspired by the game SPLATOON.  White (or colored) LED strips can be embedded inside the sign and powered with a USB charger block.  

Any of the cheap USB-powered LED strips that are at least 1 meter long, like those found on Amazon should be sufficient.  Ideally, the selected strip should indicate that it can be cut down to size.
