If You need to replace an 14,4V SUB-C cell package, this spacer may help.
14,4V means 12 cells. Each NiCd with 1,2V in normal use. BUT the first mAh, the cell provides 1,5V. (NimH is also close to 1,55V) So 12cells*1,5V=18V … The tool should stand 18V! So why don't use a LiIon instead?

14,4V bedeutet, der Akkupack besteht aus 12 Zellen. NiCd oder NimH haben eine nominale Zellspannung von 1,2V. Frisch geladen haben NiCd sogar 1,5V (NimH mit 1,55 sogar ein bisschen mehr)!
12Zellen á 1,5V macht 18V !!! Die Elektronik in Akkuschrauber sollte also 18V aushalten. Also warum nicht ein ansonsten unbrauchbares Gerät auf einen Lithiumakku umrüsten?
