Description

Flip this door prop out when you need extra ventilation for printing material like PLA and PETG. The prop magnetizes to the door to keep the door from swinging freely. Flip the door prop in when you want the doors fully closed.

Mag Version

Intended to be used with leftover magnets from Prusa kits. This version holds the door in place better than the screw version.

Screw Version

Use this version if you don't have any spare magnets. It will not hold the door as securely, but it defiantly still works.

Assembly Instructions

Screw version

The hinge on the door prop is a print-in-place hinge. You will need 7x M3 screws that are 10mm or less in length. They will also need to be black oxide (black) screws and not the stainless steel (silver) screws since only the black oxide ones are ferromagnetic, so the door magnets will stick to them.

All screw holes are designed for self-tapping. Use one screw to secure the door prop to the hole in the center bottom of the enclosure. Use the remaining 6 screws in the 6 holes along the front of the door prop.

Mag Version

The hinge on the door prop is a print-in-place hinge. You will need 1x M3 screws that are 10mm or less in length and 2x magnets (20x6x2mm). Slid the magnets into the magnet slots on either side. Then use the screw to secure the door prop to the hole in the center bottom of the enclosure.
