Description

In homage to the popular hairspray that was long the savior of bed adhesion for years in 3D printing, I introduce to you the Cursed Connectors: AquaNet Adapter, the latest addition to the Cursed Connectors series. This model bridges the gap between your digital network and your garden. Designed to connect a standard RJ45 Ethernet plug to a garden hose, this connector is perfect for those who love a good laugh and appreciate the absurd. Now you can truly say your network is ‘flowing’ smoothly.

The AquaNet Adapter not only connects your ethernet cable to a garden hose but also features a design that locks your ethernet cable in place, ensuring it stays securely attached. This innovative solution is perfect for those days when your internet connection feels like it’s underwater. Who needs fiber optics when you have a garden hose ?  Category 8 support ensures you get maximum bandwidth in your stream.

Finally, a way to water your plants and download cat videos at the same time!

3MF and STEP file included.

Printing

Material: Printed here with durable ASA, this model can be as robust as it is absurd. PLA/PETG can work too.

Layer height: Prints well at 0.16 or 0.12 layer height here in ASA.  You probably want thinner layers for good threads. If you have not shrink-corrected your ASA printing profiles, you may need to enlarge the model to ~100.7%.  Should just fit for PLA/PETG prints.

I recommend printing Plug-side down on the bed, supports not needed.  For best performance use a rubber garden hose gasket seal or print the TPU one included and insert it on the female side of the garden hose thread.
