Description

Remixed from @ImAThingsGuy model

I liked the model. It looks similar to aluminium reels out there. But the original hole size was too small for the standard size s8mm projectors out there. I also wanted it slightly larger because it looks cooler that way.
It fits on a Prusa Mini(+) (18x18cm printbed)

See photos for before and after scaling

Important! Open files in Prusaslicer as project as I did the scaling and widening of the hole inside PrusaSlicer

Print settings:

Prusa Mini+
PolyMaker PolyTerra PLA+ Black, 1,75 mm
Nozzle: 200°C
Bed: 60°C
Layer height: 10mm (detail fast)
Avoid crossing parameter: ON
Ironing: ON

For one reel:

Print the 8mmSpool x2, 8mmSpoolCenter x1.
The 8mmSpools clicks on the 8mmSpoolCenter

Simple and easy vintage look

When using black (or any other darker color) filament, print using ironing.
After print, use a brass brush (I used the kind you use to clean your 3D printer nozzle with) to scratch all over the place.
Go around in random patterns until the plastic shine is gone.
Then go a bit extra in the middle near the hole for some realism.
This creates a vintage effect in minutes.
