5015 Fan Swivel Mount

This simple fan mount attaches a 5015 blower fan to 2020 or 1515 extrusion frame.  I prioritized making the whole assembly thin and compact while still allowing the fan to swivel (nearly) 360 degrees.  You can use this model to improve airflow anywhere you like.  It could be useful for curtain or remote cooling, or mounted near a heated bed to increase chamber temperatures.

Be sure to install the fan before mounting to an extrusion frame.  In some orientations, the fan screws will be covered and not accessible once everything is installed.

Supplies

There are two options to attach the fan:

• (2) M3x20 BHCS and (2) M3 hex nuts, or
• (2) M3x16 BHCS and (2) M3x5x4 heat set inserts

I modeled built in spacers to keep fasteners the same for 2020 and 1515 extrusions.

• (2) M3x8 screws, and
• (2) M3 nuts for extrusion frame
