Description

A cool looking spider with hinges that uses filament

tips:

  • cut the filament at a 45-degree angle before inserting
  • while inserting the filament twist it and make sure it is as tight as possible

printing tips:

  • print the legs at 100% infill
  • use the highest quality to have a sturdy spider

parts:

  • x8 the end part of the leg
  • x8 the middle part of the leg
  • x8 the first part of the leg
  • x10 the connection type 1
  • x10 the connection type 2 piece (or 20 pieces with the split piece)
  • x2 jaw pieces
  • x1 the main body
  • x1 the upper body (or 2 pieces with the split piece)

side note, you can also use a different color filament for the hinges to add some color

also check out my other models like the Apollo 11 lunar lander that I made

and if the filament you're using doesn't fit (too loose) I suggest playing with the scale
