Dog Scent Training Capsules

I had previously re-mixed some dog scent training capsules that had a magnetic base - https://www.printables.com/model/936563-magnetic-dog-scent-training-capsule

My daughter wanted to use the capsules with a cheap rubber safety non-slip mat (either on the ground or hanging from a wall).  The magnetic capsules have vent holes in the side of the capsule which made them unsuitable for this application.

I designed some new capsules in Onshape that both neatly fitted the circular holes in the mat, and were vented through the lid rather than the body.

I've included two versions of the capsule - a standard 1.5mm pitch thread and a coarser 3mm pitch thread.  The standard version has a good thread feel - but takes a while to screw the lid on, whereas the coarse version is quick to screw on - but doesn't feel as ‘smooth’.  Those who tinker with settings may be able to rid the coarse version of its rougher thread action ‘feel’.

Suggested print settings:

• Material: PETG or PLA or whatever - not that important
• Layer height: 0.2mm
• Perimeters: 3 or 4 depending on how you roll.
• Infill: as there is very little internal infill - I just used 100% rectilinear 
• No supports necessary
