Sovol SV08 - magnetic enclosure door holder.

If you attach the HDMI screen to the enclosure top header right, the currently available door holders for the enclosure put on top of the glass doors did not work for me too well. I also was a little afraid of breaking the doors with such holders. 🙈

So I created this holder pair wich is magnetically held in place with Ø6x3mm magnets which are pressed into the to printed small holders and attach to the screws left and right from the print bed.

With this the holder fits well to the contours of the printers front.

The holder will get loose of you e.g. run into the enclosure to avoid breaking the glass doors. 

The print head will not get caught on the holder parts.

Parts needed:

• 12x 6x3mm magnets (Ø6mm, thickness 3mm). 2 magnets are pressed into each hole and 1 sits on top of them to connect the magnets to the screw left and right of the print bed as shown.

Printing instructions:

• 0.2 speed profile.
• No supports needed.
• Color change at 1mm and 2mm if you like to add a little color to the gear logo as I did too. =)
• Textured sheet usage could add a nice texture to the parts.
