Description
Use a M5x45 screw with head cuted, or a treaded M5 rod.
You need 2x M5 nuts.
Print the output pulley and assemble like 3Dsets manual describe.
Cut a M5 rod or a M5 screw to have approx 10mm each side. Threaded rod or screw have to be screwed in the pulley. It's easier with a m5 screw as you can use a screw driver, then cut the screw head after. After you drilled the holes, you can use them with a 6pan key (or anything fiting in the hole) to screw the rod.
Make 2 flat
position the metal shaft and use a permanent marker to mark hole position
use a 2.5 drill to make holes
use the 2x m5 nuts to secure the build. Tighten them enough and use thread lock to avoid any issue.
Assemble the gearbox like described on 3DSets manual.
You can now use metal shaft to link gearbox to custom axles (more on this coming soon)
