KLP 1 230 (BTT E3EZ Motherboard Adapter)

****UPDATE***

Someone figured out how to flash the original MOBO and THR so this isnt needed if you dont want to switch to BTT ecosystem.

I have completely gutted all of Kingroons' control boards in my KLP1 230, and replaced them with BTT counterparts. I was so upset that Kingroon said their machines were open source but they give no documentation on how to run a newer version of Linux so you are stuck with an outdated system.

I had to extend the bed heater wires as well as the CANBUS board power wires. You will probably need a new CANBUS toolhead board as I could not get the original tool board to cooperate. I have a design for the EBB36 and the BTT TFT 35 screen.

ITEMS NEEDED

2 original M3 screws from old motherboard

4 M3 Heat stake inserts

4 M3x3 screws

INSTALL

• Review BTT Manta E3EZ pinout 
• Take pictures of original motherboard and wiring
• Remove original motherboard
• Heat stake motherboard adapter
• Install Adapter with original screws
• Install BTT Board
• Extend/Repin if needed and plug in new board
• Run all Klipper checks (stepper direction, stepper buzz, homing, fan checks, heater checks, PID tune, test print, ECT
