Slight variation to the original and official display mount. The hinges were removed just like the trap door for refilling water. For water refill, you just grab the whole assembly and then put it back, personally I find that easier to manipulate, and the display does not fold when touched.

To replace the SD card, there is a slot from the bottom, but to be honest reaching it might be difficult - it may end up being easier to just remove the display from enclosure for upgrades, but since there are likely no updates comming for the old nextion screen, I think it is fine.

The assembly instructions are simple - just screw the backplate onto the lid with two 2x12mm screws (alternatively you can glue it), and then snap on the front cover as with the original.
