Description
01.2025 - had some issues with the back-to-front version, it melted at higher temps. Added a new model with duct tips moved 5mm away from the nozzle without the louvred tips aka got them more solid aswell.
Currently testing and redesigning whenever I feel like it. As of late I stumbled upon NeedItMakeIt - YouTube and his duct competition. Got some inspiration from that and designed a version with two exhaust pushing from back-to-front with a lot more aggressive height so less nozzle cooling and more print cooling.
Latest clip of doing a sub-10 minute benchy:
The nozzle is visible. Crown duct fully encloses the nozzle, beta duct is somewhat open and my design gives You the view for next 30 minutes or more when you want to look your printer go brr.
Considering the toolhead author has access to fluid motion computing, then I'm here just winging it and checking the results on the prints I do.
