Innioasis Y1 TPU Case

Update 1.2: Ich habe eine zweite Variante hinzugefügt, die nun keinen Metallring, sondern MagSafe-Magnete nutzt (inklusive der Orientierungshilfe) und zudem noch zwei kleine Löcher zum anbringen einer Handschlaufe hat. Version 1 ist die ältere Version mit dem Metallring und Version 2 ist die neuere Version mit den MagSafe Magneten. Es wird ein MagSafe Magnet wie dieser benötigt. Pro Tip: Abhängig von der Orientierung der Magneten kannst du den y1 entweder an Halterungen anbringen, diesen mit MagSafe Zubehör wie zum Beispiel einem Smart-Wallet verwenden oder ihn direkt an der Rückseite deines iPhones befestigen ;)

Update 1.1: Die Anschluss-Ausschnitte wurden überarbeitet. Außerdem habe ich einen kleinen optionalen Ring hinzugefügt, der den Raum zwischen dem MagSafe-Metallring und dem Gerät schließt und so insgesamt eine bessere Passform und Funktion gewährleistet (passt auch für Version 1, falls ihre diese bereits gedruckt habt).

Ich habe kürzlich einen Innioasis Y1 MP3 Player gekauft. Scheinbar gibt es für dieses Modell noch keine Hüllen, also habe ich kurzerhand selbst eines entworfen. Die Passform ist sehr gut, der MP3 Player lässt sich leicht hineindrücken und fällt defintiv nicht heraus. Auf der Unterseite befinden sich Ausschnitte für die Anschlüsse und den Lautsprecher. Als kleines Gimmick habe ich noch einen Ausschnitt für einen Metallring in die Rückseite eingearbeitet, damit Apple MagSafe Halterungen verwendet werden können. Ihr benötigt hier nur einen kleinen Metallring, die es sehr günstig auf bsp. AliExpress zu kaufen gibt.

Druckanweisungen:

• Für den Druck muss zwingend TPU oder ein ähnlich weiches Material verwendet werden (MP3 Player kann sonst nicht in die Hülle gedrückt werden)
• gedruckt mit 0.12mm Schichthöhe (0.2 aber ebenfalls möglich, je nach gewollter Qualität)
• Baum-Supports für die Ausschnitte des USB C Anschlusses und des Lautsprechers empfohlen (nicht unbedingt notwendig, wird aber schöner)
• 15% Gyroid Infill

Montage:

• (optional) klebe den MagSafe Ring in die Aussparung im Case
• Drücke den innioasis Y1 vorsichtig ins Case

Update 1.2: I’ve added a second version that now uses MagSafe magnets instead of a metal ring (including the alignment aid) and also features two small holes for attaching a wrist strap. Version 1 is the one with the metal ring and version 2 ist the newer one that uses the magsafe magnets. You'll need a magsafe magnet like this one. Pro tip: Depending on the orientation of the magsafe magnets, you can either use them to mount the y1 to holders or use it with accessories like a wallet or mount it on the back of your iphone ;)

Update 1.1: Modifications to port-cutouts were made. Additionally I added a little optional ring, that closes the gap between the MagSafe-metal-ring and the device, ensuring an overall better fit and better functionality (also fits version 1 if you already printed it).

I recently bought the innioasis Y1 music player. It looks like there are no cases available for it, so I just designed my own. It fits very good, the mp3 player can easily be pressed in, while definitely not falling out. On the bottom are some cutouts for ports and speaker. As a little extra I added a cutout for metal ring to be glued in, so that apple magsafe holder can be used. You'll only need a cheap metal ring, which are available at AliExpress for example.

print instruction:

• use TPU or similar soft material (otherwise you won't be able to press the innioasis in)
• I printed with 0.12mm layer height (depending on which quality you want, you can also use 0.2mm)
• tree supports are recommended for USB C port and speaker cutout (you can print without supports, but cutouts are going to look less good)
• 15% gyroid infill

assembly:

• (optional) glue the MagSafe ring into the cutout in the back of the case
• gently press the innioasis Y1 into the case
