Scalp Massager – Stimulator and Stress Reliever

Product Description:

Introducing the Scalp Massager, a simple yet highly effective tool designed to stimulate your scalp and relieve tension. Instead of traditional steel wires, this massager is built using shaped 1.75mm PLA or PETG filament, making it lightweight and easy to customize. Whether you’re looking for a soothing scalp massage or a gentle way to unwind, this head massager is perfect for providing relaxation.

The device features multiple flexible wires, shaped to contour to your head, delivering a soothing massage. With the included guide for shaping the filaments, you can easily construct this tool at home, making it a practical and enjoyable DIY project.

Printable Files:

• Filament Shaping Template

• Fixing Part (TPU)

• Handle

Printing Instructions:

• Layer Height: 0.2 mm

• Infill: 15-30%

• Perimeters: 2

• Supports: Not required

• Material: PLA or PETG for the wires and handle, TPU for the fixing part, Any High Temp Material for the shaping template.

Object Purpose:

The Scalp Massager is an excellent tool for delicate scalp stimulation, which can promote relaxation, alleviate stress, and even improve blood circulation. It’s moderately easy to build and customize, making it a fun project that also serves a practical purpose.

Assembly Instructions:

1. After printing all the files, take the shaping template and place it on a flat surface.

2. Take a PLA or PETG filament and use a lighter to gently soften the tip to remove any unwanted edges. (Be cautious during this step; do not expose the filament to direct flame as it could catch fire and release harmful fumes. It’s recommended to wear a suitable mask to protect your respiratory system during this process.)

3. Next, place the filament on the template and cut it to size. (Ensure the template is made from a heat-resistant material to prevent any unwanted warping or deformation.)

4. Heat with an Heat Gun and carefully shape the 1.75mm PLA or PETG filament over the template to form the massage wires (If you encounter difficulties keeping the filament steady in the template because it remains too elastic, we recommend using heat-resistant gloves during the filament forming process).

5. Once fully cooled, remove the filament and check if the shape is maintained (Repeat Forming process 12 times).

6. Trim the ends of the wires to ensure they slide smoothly into the TPU fixing part.

7. Insert the shaped wires into the slots of the fixing part ( The first 2 filaments must be inserted in opposite positions to make it easier to insert the next ones).

8. Secure the fixing part onto the handle by pushing it into place.

9. Double-check that all wires are firmly secured and adjust any that may feel loose. (The stiffness of the filaments may depend on the printing tolerances. If the filaments feel too loose for your liking, you can add a bit of glue inside the handle before inserting the flexible fixing part into it).

10. Your scalp massager is now ready to use! Enjoy a relaxing scalp massage at your convenience.
