Mirka Deros Sander Adapter for Festool Cleantec and Vacuums

Introduction

There are already a lot of adapters for Mirka Deros Sanders. But either they are for the old Deros sanders, didn't fit well, had a weak structure or I just didn't liked them. Therefore, I have created three own adapters with which vacuum cleaners can be connected directly to the Deros sanders. Mainly I focused on Festool vacuum cleaners, but also other manufacturers can be connected with these, if they have the same dimensions.

The adapter will be screwed directly onto the sander and have a really good and tight fit. All models can be printed without supports! I have printed my adapters in PETG, but also PLA or any other solid material can be used for this.

Adapter Versions

34,5mm Adapter

• The inner diameter fits all general 34mm vacuums hoses (like Kärcher)
• The outer diameter perfectly fits the large Festool Ø36/32 hoses

36mm Adapter

• Fits all general 36mm vacuum hoses
• Perfect fit for old "Festo" connector
• Also greatly fits Festool Cleantec connector, but without interlock

36mm Cleantec Adapter

• Perfect fit for Festool Cleantec hoses (Ø 27/32)
• Connector can be interlocked

Update 06.01.2023

I've updated the Adapter for Festool Cleantec. It is now even better to print and has a better clearance on the Deros. The size and threads are exectly the same.

Print Settings

You can print all adapters standing. I never needed any supports or brim. I suggest to print it solid/with 100% infill. PLA or PETG, both worked very well.
