Thales theorem - height measure. Twierdzenie Talesa - miernik wysokości

In the cult Polish comic book "Tytus, Romek & A'Tomek", the main character receives a geometry homework: "Measure the height of a tree in Grandma Kowalska's yard.":

 After an unsuccessful attempt to climb the peak, a device appears, confirming the Thales Theorem on the similarity of triangles, in practice. Use the arrow/plumb to level the device. And then: “We stand at such a distance from the tree that we can see the top of the tree through the rear sight and front sight. The distance from the trunk plus our height is the height of the tree.”:

 A simple model allows you to illustrate a basic mathematical theorem. Of course, it measures more than just trees :-) Have fun!

W kultowym polskim komiksie „Tytus, Romek i A'Tomek”, główny bohater otrzymuje zadanie domowe z geometrii: „Zmierzyć wysokość drzewa na podwórku babci Kowalskiej”. Po nieudanej próbie wspięcia się na wierzchołek, pojawia się przyrząd, potwierdzający w praktyce Twierdzenie Talesa o podobieństwie trójkątów. Za pomocą strzałki / pionu, poziomujemy przyrząd. A następnie: „Stajemy od drzewa w takiej odległości, aby przez szczerbinkę i muszkę zobaczyć czubek drzewa. Odległość od pnia plus nasz wzrost jest wysokością drzewa”. Prosty model pozwala zobrazować podstawowe matematyczne twierdzenie. Oczywiście mierzy nie tylko drzewa :-) Udanej zabawy!
