Phone holder for 2018 Honda Civic Si.

I specifically designed this for my 2018 Honda Civic Si.  I don't know if it will fit any other years.  Also, my car is a left-hand drive.  I'm guessing that a mirror of the mount, wedge, and cradle would be needed for right-hand drive.

The mount is friction fit, so no modifications or 2-way tape is required to secure the mount. 

The cradle is sized for an iPhone 11 Max with a Rhinoskin case on it.

I'm using M3-0.5 brass heat-set inserts and M3-0.5 x 6 screws.

The “wedge” is a separate piece because I didn't want to print the whole mount piece out while experimenting with the angle.  The two pieces could be combined into one printout if the angle meets yours needs.

I've included the SCAD file.  The code is UGLY and not easily adjusted, but it's there if you want to tweak it.

The end product is not perfect but I'm going to call it good enough for me right now.  I am very happy with it.  One improvement I will make in the future is to shorten the cradle by 3cm.

Steps for installation:

1. Print out the pieces and assemble them, except for the “stopper”.  The stopper is a small cuboid shape.  It will prevent the mount from accidentally sliding towards the driver if the driver makes an extremely hard turn.
2. Slide the triangular bottom of the mount behind the display console screen from the steering wheel side.  See videos.
3. Position the stopper (see video) and screw it to the mount.
