Description
ALIX NOZZLE DUCT CONFLICTS WITH STOCK BUILD PLATE HANDLE. IF YOU WANT TO USE IT PLEASE REMOVE THE HANDLE.
Fan goes into the same spot as the original model. Screws seemed unnecessary since the friction fit is already pretty good. Make sure your magnets are orientated properly, I would stick them to the tool head magnets and mark them with a marker before inserting them.
Uses 2 5x3mm magnets
Download V3 For AliX Compatibility, Will hit stock build plate.
Download V2 for Stock Ducts. Clears stock build plate but worse AliX nozzle cooling.
V2: Added flow splitter since I was getting a bit of uneven cooling. Improved the airflow of the duct also. Made exit holes a bit thicker since I was getting some sagging on the nozzles.
V3: Extended the length of the hotend and angled to air outlets up a bit to compensate or extra length. This was required for aftermarket nozzle compatibility since it blocks more of the air using the stock cooling duct. V2 still works with stock nozzle.
V3 Edit: Shortened the tips of the nozzles to clear the build plate locating pegs when bed leveling. Corrected Magnet Size. Made chamfer on V2 deeper so it clears build plate better.
