Description

This is my take on fume and dust extraction for my small workshop. 

It is parametric and can be adjusted with a bit of FreeCAD knowledge.

Printing advice:

  1. use 0.6mm nozzle and 0.40mm layer height
  2. print in PETG for some flex and conformity, though PLA should also work fine
  3. only the lid needs some some support for the clip holes, at least on my MK3S+

Usage advice:

  1. set on table and direct to the fume/dust source
  2. mount hanging above or near the fume/dust source (see picture for samples)

Needed hardware:

  • 1x 120x120mm fan
  • 4x M4x12mm screws to mount the fan
  • 1x 23x19cm piece of filter material (I use standard 57x47cm fleece for kitchen fume extractors with a bit of active charcoal and cut it to size)
