Description
Like the LP2 and LP3, the LP4 has a sturdy handle on the laser head for transportation and handheld engraving. However, due to its weight and the loosely attached magnetic protective cone, it doesn't stand on the cone without the electric stand.
I designed these supports to stabilise the LP4 from the rear. They snap on with a snug fit, but if the fit loosens or for added security, you can use a standard ¼" screw to secure them. Add one or more washers if the screw is too long.
Ensure you print these in the shown orientation to minimise or eliminate the need for additional supports, and more importantly, to maximise strength.
The V version has a simple V-shaped support in the middle.
The H version has a Hole in the middle for the standard LP ventilation Hose to go through.
Otherwise, they serve the same purpose.
