Description
We needed to make an aquarium jumpguard for one of our aquariums, but I refused to spend so much on a jump net kit from the pet store.
I used these printed files, cutting some lengths of aluminium flyscreen frame from Bunnings and some fabric from Spotlight. You'll need some flyscreen spline to put it all together.
Total cost - about $25
This file should be printed with supports and the orientation should be as imported. These are a very good fit into the aluminium, but you may need to cut any spurs off the aluminium, depending on how well you cut it (I used a hacksaw).

Spotlight Fabric:
I also designed and uploaded some curvy corner pieces to curve the frame around my Seachem Tidal 55, but they're more specific to my aquarium size/setup. You can use Prusaslicer to mirror the model for use on either side of the filter. This part doesn't have any support on the rear side, because it's designed to sit slightly further away from the rear glass to allow clearance for cables for heaters ect.
Update 13/01/2025: Added a chamfered version for those with silicon/glue in the corners of their tanks.
