ugears hurdy gurdy repair part

it is a side part for the ugear Hurdy gurdy mechanical toy.
My son broke two of the many parts that are holding the front and backside together... by letting it falling down.
as the part is a non exact copy of the original, I just share it for repair purpose. The original design is for laser cut. I did a print ready version of it.

I used their pdf from instruction manual. then I take a snapshot, use inkscape Image to path method. to get a vector graphic.

then I simplify it several times and I reworked the holding part so that it fits its clamp function. but looks not exactly the same (but close enough)

The original and its rights are owned by the Ugears company.

As I only reworked a simplified version of it for repair purpose and I guess that nobody can do anything else as using this very small part for same purpose I do not see an infringement of any sort doing that. The model made by Ugears is counting many many other parts.
Copying it in such a way that you will be able to reconstruct a 3d Printed version (with a high fidelity) will be an infringement so don t do that.

One point more: I had a lot of fun mounting the Ugear toy- I also modified it to add a buzzing bridge mechanism that was not original using left over wood part from the laser cut parts.
Please use this part for repair purpose only. Purshase the original set for yourself otherwise - you will also have a lot of fun and you will help the company proposing further design.
