Description
For 22mm handlebars. Created this for my bicycle to mount my phone using a RAM arm. I decided not to use the screw inside ball that many designs use. Instead I printed it on the side in PC with all the walls. The side with supports looks a bit worse, but it's a functional part, so meh. The ball sits on top of a short stem, so it should be OK. For light applications and short arms you might not need any rubber padding. I had to use a small piece of inner tube as my phone was a bit too heavy on this arm and it kept rotating on bumpy roads.
Hardware required:
2 x M4 socket cap screws (designed for DIN912 head size), length about 12-14mm, depending if you use padding or not
2 x M4 nuts
Nuts were a tight fit for me, but thanks to that they don't fall out, your mileage may vary depending on printer tolerances.
I didn't use washers, instead tighten till it cracks and back off a quarter turn ;)
I run on coffee ;)
