Classical Guitar Leg Rest

This set of 3D-printable files provides components to create a leg rest for a classical guitar, designed for improved posture and comfort during playing. The leg rest elevates the guitar on the player's thigh, ensuring optimal playing position without the need for a footstool.

The design includes smooth, ergonomic surfaces that rest comfortably on the leg and suction cups that securely attach to the guitar’s side without damaging its finish. The leg rest is adjustable, allowing players to customize the height and angle of the guitar. The suction cups can be easily detached, making it a portable and convenient accessory for musicians.

There is a single suction cup version of the bracket, for thin guitars and a double cup version of the bracket, which provides more stability.

The following easy to find, non printed parts were used:

• 2 (or 3) suction cups with M4 threads
• 2 (or 3) M4 heatset inserts
• 1 M5x30 Button Head Cap Screw
• 1 M5 heatset insert
• Optional: M5 Square nut
• Optional: EVA foam as padding for more comfort
