Description
A set of parts that provide a flat top or “feet” for the rounded PS3 slim surface, to place items on top of it.
I needed to place my xbox 360 on top of the ps3 due to its fan outlet being placed on the top; If I put the ps3 on top of the 360, the fan would be blocked. I certainly don't want an overheating 360, y'know?
The four main parts snap onto the sides of the ps3. Brackets then fix them in place so that they don't slide down the sides.
This is quite a silly model. It uses a fair amount of filament (about 90 grams) and takes about 5 hours to print on my Prusa i3mks with 0.3mm layer height. There are simpler models that print faster (for example RonanCraft's PS3 Flat top Stand on Thingiverse - consider using that instead).
I suppose the benefit of my model is that it's quite well-attached to the ps3 itself, making it easier to move it or items on top of it about.
No supports are needed when placed flat, and 10% infill should suffice. I printed mine with PETG, but PLA or really any material should work just fine.
Print the four sides and two top-brackets. Attach the four models to the sides of the ps3slim and then attach the brackets on top.
