Description
Yet another AA battery case for Xbox 360 controllers.
(AA batteries sold separately)
Based on Bulten51's remix of Jozefvv's Xbox 360 Battery pack holder on Thingiverse.
Please note that the photographs of the model are of a prototype that has some differences.
I include two variants:
Some differences from the original models:
All parts print in about a 1 hour 15 minutes on my Prusa i3mk3s (0.2mm layer height, 20% infill, 2 perimeters using PETG). The walls are thin (bearing little structural support in this print), so be a bit careful with those whilst assembling the parts.
If your plastic is brittle, parts might snap; in particular the little block that “locks” into the controller to keep the pack attached, and the aforementioned sides. The locking plates which slide into the parts to hold them together are designed with some margin, but are still a tight fit; hopefully not tight enough that the parts are impossible to assemble!
Decide a variant (with holes or without (see above)) and print the top and bottom shells along with the two locking plates. All models should be laid flat on the print-bed in the most obvious manner.
