Super-Loud Compact Emergency Whistle

A revised version of the whistle that I designed to be compact, fast-and-easy to print, and super loud. Good for sports and hiking, survival etc. Compact and handy, just 20 x 53 x 10 mm in size.

The two chambers of slightly different lengths produce dominantly 3093 Hz and 3234 Hz tones (when printed at 100% size). Combined, they produce a piercing whistle that pulsates at 141 Hz.

Best when printed in PLA and with 0.40mm nozzle. Do NOT use supports!

Changes

2022-11-04 - Added "Whistle-blank.stl" which is the same whistle without the inscription on its bottom.

2021-01-09 - Slightly changed geometry producing a loud whistle with much less effort, also giving a cleaner sound. Slight decrease in size from 20 x 54 x 10 mm down to 20 x 53 x 10 mm. Frequencies changed from 3468 Hz and 3609 Hz to 3093 Hz and 3234 Hz (resulting envelope modulation remains 141 Hz).
