Description
I'd picked up an inexpensive full face respirator to replace my half face one. The only problem is that I need to wear reading glasses, and you can't really wear standard glasses with such a mask.
Looking at what's generally available I was surprised to see things range from $200 to $400. I'm hoping those include nice prescription lenses, but I really can't afford that for just reading glasses.
Given that I can get a pair for $5-$10, I needed something simple. I unscrewed the legs from a spare pair of glasses, then used hot-melt glue to stick these adapters onto the frames. They tend to shift a bit, but that allows me to reach a finger under the edge of the mask and get things positioned well when I first put it on.
I'll be updating it to have a stronger/more fitting/longer set of legs, but this is a minimal clip that gets things working and allowed me to start playing with the beginner airbrush set I just bought.
