Description
If you are an aircraft mechanic or builder, it's likely that you have some of this stuff rolling around in a drawer of your toolbox. Probably you bought it during or shortly after A&P school, or when you started a homebuilt aircraft project, and unless you are a dedicated, full time sheet metal mechanic, you'll still have at least half of it left when you retire or finish your project. Kind of like that container of fuel lube we all have…
Since it's going to be around for a while, might as well store it in a more organized fashion. Like my other Gridfinity models, the bases are altered to accept 6x3 magnets as a press fit, with the upper surface of the magnet holes modified to make the slicer bridge across correctly for a clean result. Usually I print most Gridfinity stuff with a 0.6mm nozzle, but I didn't feel like changing nozzles so the unit pictured was printed out of Polymaker matte yellow PLA on a Bear upgraded Mk3S+, using a 0.4mm nozzle at 0.2mm layer height.
